macOS will follow later. The SHA-256 fingerprint lets your IT staff check that the file was not changed on the way.

How to start

Clinic staff

  1. Install ClinAssist on your device (see the Android help below).
  2. Open ClinAssist.
  3. Choose Sign in and enter the clinic code, your username and your password. Your Head Administrator gives you all three.
  4. A new device waits for the Head Administrator's approval. Once approved, you can start working.

Head Administrator

  1. Install and open ClinAssist on the first clinic device.
  2. Choose Set up a new clinic. You need an activation code from SmartPath.
  3. Add your staff accounts, then give each person the clinic code, their username and a password.
  4. Approve each new device when it asks to join.

Installing on Android

ClinAssist is downloaded directly from this page, not from the Play Store, so Android asks you to confirm twice.

  1. Tap Download for Android, then open the downloaded file from the notification or from Files › Downloads.
  2. If Android says your browser is not allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back and tap Install.
  3. If Google Play Protect warns about an unrecognised app, tap More details, then Install anyway. This happens with direct downloads; it is expected for ClinAssist from this page.
  4. After installing, you may turn Allow from this source off again.

Only install ClinAssist from this page or from your Head Administrator. If anything looks different, stop and ask.

Privacy

Patient records are stored encrypted on clinic devices; the server copy is end-to-end encrypted.

This page does not collect anything: no sign-in, no cookies, no analytics.
